A bowl on the floor
puts the head on the floor.
The legs lift the bowl 2.7 inches off the ground and lean it forward. That one change is the difference between a bent neck and a level one.
Head up, neck level. A dish flat on the floor makes your pet drop the whole head to reach the food and hold it there for the length of the meal. Paw Pace sits 2.7 inches up and leans forward, so the food comes to your pet instead.
